Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that:<br/><br/>"HPCLs Visakh Refinery was shut down from morning hours of October 12, 2014 as a precautionary measure due to the devastating HUDHUD cyclone which hit Visakhapatnam. Currently, assessment of the damage to some of the units and support system is in progress. Parallely pre-commissioning activities are being carried out.<br/><br/>Refinery is expected to be back in operation in the next 10-12 days. Insurance company has been duly intimated."
