Hindustan Unilever Ltd has informed BSE that Ms. Kalpana Morparia, Chief Executive Officer of J. P. Morgan, India has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of the Company with effect from October 09, 2014. The Board of Directors have approved the appointment of Ms. Kalpana Morparia, by passing a resolution by circulation. Ms. Morparia will be a Member of the Audit and Corporate Social Responsibility Committees of the Board.<br/><br/>In this regard, the Company has issued a Press Release titled "Appointment of Kalpana Morparia as an Independent Director on the HUL Board."
