| With reference to the news item appeared in The Times of India dated June 09, 2015 under the heading "Nestle row hits packaging cos stocks". The report states that the stock price of the Company declined by 1.3% on Monday 8th June, 2015 due to the controversy about Maggi Noodles & Tastemaker manufactured by Nestle India Ltd. who is a customer of the Company.<BR><BR>Huhtamaki PPL Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<BR><BR>"we have not supplied any packaging material for Maggi Noodles & Tastemaker, to Nestle India Ltd, in the current financial year beginning 1st January 2015, as well as during the entire last calendar year 2014.<BR><BR>We also state that our total sales to Nestle, which were for products other than Maggi Noodles and Tastemaker, for the full year ended 31st December. 2014 was around 2.5% of our total sales. Similarly, in the five months of the current year so far sales to Nestle India Ltd., on consolidated basis are less that 1.5% of total sales." | |
