Indian Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of Sub-Section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 / 1980, read with sub-clause (1) of Clause 3 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 / 1980, the Central Government has, vide Notification dated February 23, 2015, nominated Shri B. P. Vijayendra, PCGM, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai as RBI Nominee Director of the Bank, in place of Dr. Sathyan David with immediate effect and until further orders.
