| Indian Bank has informed BSE that In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 / 1980, read with sub-clause (1) of Clause 3 and sub-clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 / 1980, the Central Government has, vide Notification dated January 22, 2016, appointed Shri. R Subramania Kumar, General Manager, Punjab National Bank as Executive Director, Indian Bank for the period of three years from the date of his taking over the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Copy of the Government of India Notification dated January 22, 2016 issued in this regard. Shri. R Subramania Kumar took charge as Executive Director of Indian Bank on January 22, 2016. | |
