| Indian Overseas Bank has informed BSE that the Government of India, vide its notification dated December 31, 2014 and in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 and sub-clause (1) of clause 8 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, has appointed Shri R. Koteeswaran (Executive Director, Bank of India) as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Bank with effect from the date of his taking over charge of the post. He shall, as per the notification, hold office up to the age of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<BR><BR>Shri R. Koteeswaran has taken over charge of the Bank as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on December 31, 2014. | |
