Jai Balaji Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide its judgement pronounced on September 24, 2014, has passed an order stating that the allotment of all coal blocks except 4 stands cancelled. In terms of the said order, the Ardhagram coal block, Rohne coal block and Andal coal block allotted to Jai Balaji Industries Limited along with other companies stands cancelled. Production in Rohne coal block and Andal coal block has not yet started. However, production in Ardhagram coal block, which is in operation, can continue till March 31, 2015. Further, an additional levy of Rs. 295/- per tonne has been imposed on all coal productions done so far and any further production till March 31, 2014.
