With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 25, 2014 about the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company for sale of Companys 1.5 MTPA Cement Grinding Unit at Panipat, Haryana for a tentative consideration of around Rs. 360 Crores subject to adjustments for net working capital and financial indebtedness taken over, as of the closing date of the transaction, Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company on September 19, 2014 has entered into a Business Transaction Agreement (BTA) with Shree Cement Limited for the above transaction.<br/><br/>The transaction is subject to necessary Regulatory approvals.
