| With reference to the earlier annoucement dated March 24, 2014, intimating the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company to the signing of Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) for sale of 74% stake (9,89,01,000 equity shares owned by the Company) in the paid-up equity share capital of Bokaro Jaypee Cement Limited (BoJCL) (a joint venture between Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)) to M/s Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited or any of its Associates / Affiliates.<BR><BR>In this connection, Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has informed BSE that the said transaction has been consummated on November 29, 2014 with the receipt of consideration of Rs.667.56 Crores (Rupees Six Hundred Sixty Seven Crores and Fifty Six Lacs only) by JAL and transfer of 9,89,01,000 equity shares of BoJCL to Shri. Rangam Securities & Holdings Limited, an Associate / Affiliate of M/s. Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited.<BR><BR><BR> | |
