Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 12, 2014, inter alia, have approved the following:<br/><br/>- Amalgamation<br/><br/>The Board has accepted the recommendation of the Restructuring Committee for amalgamation of Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) (the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company), with the Company, which will be subject to various regulatory and other approvals and sanction of the Scheme of Amalgamation by the Hon'ble High Court /Tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
