| With reference to the earlier letter dated October 15, 2015 under which the Company had informed the exchange that the Honble BIFR had at its hearing held on October 14, 2015 declared the rehabilitation scheme sanctioned for JCT ELECTRONICS LIMITED as failed. It had also in the said hearing confirmed its earlier opinion that the Company be recommended for winding up to the High Court as no objections/suggestions had been received against the statutory notice published by them in this regard.<BR><BR>JCT Electronics Ltd has now informed BSE that the said recommendations were forwarded by BIFR to the Punjab High Court at Chandigarh with copy to the Official Liquidator. The case was listed in the third week of December, 2015 but could not be taken up as the Judge was on leave on that date and the matter was posted for February 01, 2016. On. the said date the Judge after hearing the matter admitted the petition and issued notice to the creditors, who had appeared before BIFR for May 20, 2016. Meanwhile the Honble Court appointed the Official Liquidator attached to the court as the Provisional Liquidator with directions to take charge of the assets and records of the Company. The Court ordered publication of the factum of admission in the news papers at Chandigarh and the official gazette of the Govt. of Punjab. | |
