| The Exchange has sought clarification from Jet Airways (India) Ltd with respect to news article appearingin The Financial Express on October 27, 2014 titled "Etihad drops plan to lease Boeing aircraft from Jet".<br/><br/>Jet Airways (India) Ltd replied stating "We wish to inform you that Etihad has already denied it. Etihad has also issued the clarification in this regard.<br/><br/>Etihad Statement: (attributable to an Etihad Airways spokesperson)<br/><br/>Etihad Airways has denied reports that it has dropped plans to lease aircraft from Jet Airways.<br/><br/>"We already have two Boeing 777-300ERs and two Airbus A330-200s in operation under dry lease from Jet Airways, and are finalizing plans to introduce a further two aircraft before the end of the year." | |
