With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Jindal Power seeks to sell entire stake in Arunachal hydro project", Jindal Steel and Power Ltd has Clarified to BSE that Jindal Power Limited (JPL), a subsidiary Company has informed the Company that the Board of Directors of JPL had, in its meeting held on April 28, 2014, given <br/>in-principle approval for sale of its entire equity share in Kamala Hydro Electric Power Company Ltd. As and when some proposal is finalized, the same will be appropriately disclosed to Stock Exchanges.
