With reference to the earlier announcement dated February 21, 2014 whereby the Company had intimated that the Company, subject to customary closing conditions and third party consents, intends to acquire 26% equity stake in VTPL immediately and increase it to 50% in due course, JSW Steel Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company has on April 07, 2014 acquired the said 26% equity stake in Vallabh Tinplate Private Limited.
