Kirloskar Industries Ltd has informed BSE that:<BR><BR>"Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL), a listed material subsidiary of the Company, has intimated vide its letter dated January 17, 2017, the followings:<BR><BR>With reference to the earlier letter submitted by KFIL to the Stock Exchange No. 2211/16, dated 19 September 2016, wherein KFIL had mentioned that one Mini Blast Furnace (MBF-1) of the company situated at Koppal plant, Karnataka, has been shut down from 19 September 2016 on account of MBF-1 upgrade.<BR><BR>The upgrade of Mini Blast Furnace (MBF-1) has been completed and the commercial production has commenced from 17 January 2017.<BR><BR>A copy of the intimation submitted by KFIL to the Stock Exchange on 17 January 2017, about the same is enclosed herewith."
