The Exchange had sought clarification from Lanco Infratech Ltd with respect to news appearing in The Economic Times on February 23, 2015 titled "Lanco Wants to Recast Rs. 1K-cr Loan of AP Plants."<BR><BR>Lanco Infratech Ltd replied stating "The Company is having many Subsidiaries which are in the Power Sector. The Subsidiaries are continuously working with the Lenders to rearrange the loan repayments as per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. One such Subsidiary, Lanco Kondapalli Power Limited is also working with its Lenders to rearrange the loan repayment as per RBI guidelines. This is a normal business transaction."
