With reference to Increase in Volume, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"In this regard, it is stated that MTNL do not have any information/announcement (including pending announcement) which in our opinion may have a bearing on the price/volume behavior in the scrip of MTNL except that the information already given to your Exchange vide our email dtd.18.09.2014 with regard to clarification on News Item i.e. "DOT may delist MTNL, Merge with BSNL".<br/><br/>This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority."
