| Marico Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 25, 2014, inter alia, has considered and approved the following:<br/><br/>1. Mr. Harsh Mariwala whose tenure as Managing Director of the Company ends on March 31, 2014, is appointed as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from April 01, 2014 for a term not exceeding 5 years. He continues as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company and has been re-designated as "Chairman".<br/><br/>2. Appointment of Mr. Saugata Gupta, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, as an "Additional Director" and thereafter as the "Managing Director and CEO" of the Company with effect from April 01, 2014 for a term not exceeding 5 years.<br/><br/>3. Declaration of one time Silver Jubilee Third Interim Dividend of Re. 1.75 per equity share of Re. 1 each (being 175% on paid-up equity share capital of Rs. 64.48 Crore) for the financial year 2013-14. | |
