| Mcleod Russel India Ltd has informed BSE that at the separate Extraordinary Meetings held on March 11, 2014 in Uganda, the shareholders of Rwenzori Tea Investments Limited and McLeod Russel Uganda Limited have approved the proposal to amalgamate Rwenzori Tea Investments Limited (a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of the Company) with its wholly owned subsidiary McLeod Russel Uganda Limited with effect from the date shown in the Certificate of Amalgamation to be issued by the Registrar of Companies, Kampala in terms of Section 243(3) of the Companies Act, 2012 of the Republic of Uganda. | |
