With reference to the earlier letter dated May 13, 2016, wherein the Company had informed that the Honble Delhi High Court (the Court) had fixed the next date of hearing for May 26, 2016 in the writ petitions filed by the Company challenging the validity of reassessment initiated by the Income Tax Department (the Department) for AY 2008-09 and provisional attachment under section 28 IB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.<BR><BR>In this regard, New Delhi Television Ltd has now informed BSE that on May 26, 2016 the Court heard the Departments arguments in part on the above writ petitions. Since the Court was rising for the day, the matter was adjourned for August 19, 2016.
