With reference to the earlier letter dated January 27, 2017 regarding proposed Board meeting scheduled on February 07, 2017 and pursuant to Regulation 29 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended, and other applicable provisions for the time being in force, NHPC Ltd has now informed BSE that the said Board meeting, the Board of Directors inter alia may also consider the proposal for Buyback of the fully paid-up equity shares of the Company.<BR><BR>In pursuance of the Internal Code of Conduct for Prevention of Insider Trading in dealing with securities of NHPC Limited, the trading window as already intimated is closed from January 31, 2017 to February 09, 2017 (both days inclusive), in connection with the above scheduled meeting.
