The Company has received disclosures dated March 28, 2017, in Form C' under Regulation 7(2) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 ('Insider Trading Regulations') from the Promoter of the Company i.e. President of India acting through the Ministry of Power ('Promoter') for sale of 60,48,78,460 equity shares of the Company aggregating to ? 1950,73,30,335 vide Buyback Offer dated February 23,2017 through stock exchange mechanism pursuant to SEBI circular no. CIR/ CFD/POLICYCELL/1/2015 dated April 13, 2015 read with SEBI circular CFD/DCR2/CIR/P/2016/131 dated December 9, 2016, as may be amended from time to time. Since the aggregate traded value is in excess of ?10,00,000 (Rupee Ten Lakhs), we are enclosing herewith the copy of Form C'in the prescribed format as required under Regulation 7 (2) of the Insider Trading Regulations.
