NHPC Ltd has informed BSE that the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) in exercise of its power under Section-139(5) of the Companies Act, 2013 vide their Letter dated June 30, 2015 has appointed the three firms of Chartered Accountants as Joint Statutory Auditors of the Company for the financial year 2015-16.
