NTPC Ltd has informed BSE that the Unit III of 500 MW of Vallur Thermal Power Project of NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Co. Ltd. a JV of NTPC Ltd. and TANGEDCO has been commissioned on February 28, 2014.<br/><br/>With this, the total installed capacity of Vallur Thermal Power Project has become 1500 MW and the total installed capacity of NTPC group has become 42964 MW.
