With reference to the news item appearing in a financial daily titled "HPCL to buy stake in Petronet terminal", Petronet LNG Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"HPCL has shown interest in buying equity in a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) yet to be incorporated for construction, operation and owning of proposed LNG terminal at Gangavaram, Andhra Pradesh of Petronet LNG Limited. Petronet is in discussion with HPCL in this regard. However, nothing has been finalized so far."
