Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 28, 2015, has have accorded the investment approval for Provision of 400kV bays for lines under Northern Region System Strengthening Scheme - XXXI (Part-B)' at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.18 Crore, with commissioning schedule of 16 months from the date of investment approval with best efforts matching with the completion of associated transmission lines being implemented under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding.
