Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that :<BR><BR>1. The Company has become a Sick Industrial Company as defined in Section 3(1 )(o) of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 (SICA) at the end of the financial year ended March 31, 2015.<BR><BR>2. Therefore, the Company had filed the necessary Reference in the prescribed Form 'A' with the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) under Section 15(1) of SICA, on October 14, 2015.<BR><BR>3. The Company's said Reference has been registered by BIFR as Case No. 152/2015.
