Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd has informed BSE that Pursuant to an Order dated August 05, 2014, the Honble High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on September 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Auditorium of The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Sector-67, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali)-160062, Punjab, for considering Scheme of Arrangement providing inter-alia merger of the Company with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited.
