The Exchange had sought clarification from Reliance Infrastructure Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Mint on October 1, 2015 titled "R-Infra looking for investor of cement and road business"<BR><BR>Reliance Infrastructure Ltd replied stating "We invite your attention to our letter dated October 1, 2015 - the gist of the Chairman's comments at the 86th Annual General Meeting held on September 30, 2015. The second item of the gist of the comments relates to the Company's interest in exploring opportunities in the Smart Cities to be set up by the Government. In this item, the following Chairman's comment is disclosed.<BR><BR>"Keeping above in mind, all strategic options will be explored for cement & roads business with investment of over Rs.15,000 crore. The proceeds will help in reducing debt.""
