Reliance Power Ltd has informed BSE that commercial operation has commenced at the fifth 660MW unit of the 3,960 MW (6X660 MW) Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) (thus making 3,300 MW capacity operational at the project), being developed by Sasan Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.<br/><br/>In this regard, the Company has submitted to BSE a copy of media release dated August 26, 2014, titled "Fifth 660 MW Unit of 3,960 MW Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project Commences Power Generation".
