| Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has on September 23, 2015 signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited and Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited, for extending financial assistance to:<BR><BR>1. Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) of Rs. 3,000 crore for the proposed 500 MW Solar Power Generation Project in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh; and<BR><BR>2. Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO) of Rs. 6,000 crore for various Transmission & System improvement projects coming up in the Capital region of Andhra Pradesh. | |
