| Sesa Sterlite Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014:<br/><br/>The Unaudited Standalone results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014<br/><br/>The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 9237.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at net profit of Rs. 7376.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income is Rs. 97597.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 118859.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.<br/><br/>The Consolidated Results are as follows:<br/><br/>The Unaudited Consolidated results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014<br/><br/>The Group has posted a net profit after tax, minority interest and Consolidated Share in profit of Associates of Rs. 16192.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 23943.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income is Rs. 204954.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 262707.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.<br/><br/>"The Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement amongst Sterlite Energy Limited ('SEL'), Sterlite Industries (India) Limited ('Sterlite'), Vedanta Aluminium Limited ('VAL'), Ekaterina Limited ('Ekaterina'), Madras Aluminium Company Limited ('Malco') and the Company (the "Scheme") had been sanctioned by the Honorable High Court of Madras and the Honorable High Court of Judicature of Bombay at Goa. The Scheme had been given effect to in the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Consequent to the effectiveness of the Scheme as above, the results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 and the figures in respect of earnings per share, are not comparable with previous corresponding period presented." | |
