Sesa Sterlite Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter ended December 31, 2013:<br/><br/>The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended December 31, 2013<br/><br/>The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 8564.90 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 where as the same was at Rs. 178.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. Total Income is Rs. 90482.20 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 where as the same was at Rs. 4241.40 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.<br/><br/>The Consolidated Results are as follows :<br/><br/>The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended December 31, 2013<br/> <br/>The Group has posted a net profit after Tax, Minority Interest and Share of Profit / (Losses) of Associates of Rs. 18682.90 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 where as the same was at Rs. 4967.30 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. Total Income is Rs. 199129.00 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 where as the same was at Rs. 2519.80 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.<br/><br/>"Consequent to the effectiveness of the Scheme, the results for the quarter ended December 31, 2013, September 30, 2013, the nine months ended December 31, 2013; and the figures in respect of earning per share, are not comparable with previous / comparable periods presented."<br/><br/>Previous period / Year figures have been regrouped / rearranged wherever necessary to confirm to current period presentation".
