The Exchange had sought clarification from Sesa Sterlite Ltd with respect to a media report in a Financial daily about "Sesa Sterlite likely to merge Hindustan Zinc with itself".<br/><br/>Sesa Sterlite Ltd has clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"the Company has not proposed any merger of Hindustan Zinc with the Company nor there is any such proposal before Board and that media reports appear to be speculation by individuals."
