With reference to the earlier letter dated August 25, 2014 and dated September 19, 2014 with respect of acquisition of 1.50 MTPA cement grinding unit of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd, situated at Panipat in the State of Haryana on going concern basis, Shree Cement Ltd has now informed BSE that Competition Commission of India (CCI) has by an order dated November 03, 2014 (Posted on the website of CCI on November 18, 2014), passed under section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002 approved the proposed combination.
