With reference to the earlier letter dated January 24, 2015 regarding Outcome of Board Meeting, Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd has now informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company have now decided to seek approval of shareholders of the Company to the resolutions for appointment of Independent Directors by way of Postal Ballot in accordance with the provisions of Section 110 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 22 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014, instead of transacting such business at the Extraordinary General Meeting which was scheduled to be held on March 30, 2015.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The Company has fixed February 11, 2015 as &apos;Specified Date&apos; for the purpose of sending Postal Ballot Notice, Postal Ballot Form and Business Reply Inland Letter Card/ Envelope to the Equity shareholders of the Company. The Company is targeting to complete despatch of the above documents to the shareholders and other persons on or before February 19, 2015 by one or more of the prescribed methods of despatch namely, Speed post/Registered post/e-mail, etc.
