Stone India Ltd has informed BSE that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held on November 18, 2014 the resignation of Mr. Amitava Mondal, Managing Director and CEO, was considered and it was decided by the Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee at their meeting held on date, to relieve him from his service as Managing Director and CEO of the Company at the close of business hours on November 22, 2014.<br/><br/>Further on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board also decided to retain Mr. Mondal as an Advisor.
