With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 04, 2014 regarding CBI registering case against Shri Sudhir Kumar Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank, Syndicate Bank has now informed BSE that Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services vide their letter No. File No. 01/10/2012/ Vig (Part-I) dated August 04, 2014 has placed Shri Sudhir Kumar Jain under deemed suspension with effect from August 02, 2014.
