Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd has informed BSE the following:<br/><br/>1. TNPL has set up a Cement Plant of a capacity of 600 MT per day for producing cement using mill wastage materials viz., lime sludge and fly ash. The capacity of the plant will now be increased from 600 MT per day to 900 MT per day at a capital outlay of Rs.30 crore. The project will be completed by December 2015.<br/><br/>2. TNPL proposes to set up a "Center for Conversion of Paper and Packaging Board (CCPPB)", at Mayanur in Karur District in 38.40 acres of land at a cost of Rs. 40 crore. About 15 industrial units for converting paper and paper packaging board into value added products will be located in the centre. The project will be completed by March 2016.
