With reference to the earlier letter dated August 01, 2014, Bhira Investments Limited ("Bhira"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has redeemed USD 450 Mn. Fixed to Floating Rate Subordinated Notes on September 02, 2014, as per the notice for early redemption to the Trustee dated July 31, 2014.<br/><br/>Tata Power Company Ltd has informed BSE that the redemption has been financed by way of loans raised by Bhira for this specific purpose.<br/><br/>In this regard, the Company has issued a Press Release dated September 03, 2014, titled "Tata Power's wholly owned subsidiary redeems USD 450 million Fixed To Floating Rate Subordinated Notes"
