The Exchange had sought clarification from Tata Power Company Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Business Standard on March 23, 2015 titled "Tata Power seeks distressed assets"<BR> <BR>Tata Power Company Ltd replied stating "The Company routinely scouts for opportunities to bolster stakeholders earnings. Towards this end, the Company constantly looks at the stressed assets in the market place. However, it's too premature at this stage and the Company has not shared any names nor capital outlay and only answered in affirmative that it is interested in looking at stressed assets."
