Tata Steel Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 12, 2014, has appointed Mr. Andrew Robb as an Additional Director/ Independent Director on the Board of Directors of the Company with immediate effect.<br/><br/>Mr. Robb, a director of the Company for 7 years, did not offer himself for re-election at the Annual General Meeting in August 2014. However, in the interest of maintaining continuity and providing guidance at a time of change in Tata Steel Europe, the Board has requested him to reconsider his position and he has accepted the new appointment. He remains Chairman of Tata Steel Europe.
