| The Exchange has sought clarification from UltraTech Cement Ltd with respect to media report ET Now 18 dated December 18, 2014 stating "Ultratech cement in talks to buy JP Associates Cement plants" <BR> <BR>UltraTech Cement Ltd was requested to submit its clarification under the provisions of Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement.<BR><BR>UltraTech Cement Ltd replied stating "This is with reference to the trailing email. The Company in its course of business evaluates various proposals on a regular basis. No proposal has reached the stage which would merit intimation to you under the listing agreement.<BR> <BR>We will inform you of any decision that may have a bearing on the performance / operations of the Company." | |
