With reference to the news item appearing in the leading financial daily titled "Videocon set to acquire Datsons Labs for Rs. 350 Cr", Videocon Industries Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"We hereby completely deny the news that Videocon is set to acquire Datsons Labs. <br/><br/>Accordingly, we confirm that:<br/><br/>- No such negotiations have ever taken place and neither are in progress.<br/><br/>- As such, there is no question of announcing any information to the Exchanges in this behalf.<br/><br/>We assure you that the Company has been and will be fully compliant with the provisions of the Listing Agreement, including the provisions with regards to dissemination of corporate information/events, which could have a bearing on the operation/performance of the Company."
