The Exchange had sought clarification from Vivimed Labs Ltd with respect to a news item appearing in Financial Express dated July 25, 2014 captioned "SEBI Slaps 10 lakh fine on Vivimed Labs for violation"<br/><br/>Vivimed Labs Ltd has replied as under:<br/><br/>"The Company received the order of SEBI on August 04, 2014 for violation of provisions of Clause 20(a) of the Listing Agreement read with Section 21 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act,1956 (hereinafter referred to as 'SCRA,1956') .,Viz., Not intimating the exact date of payment of Dividend/Date of despatch of Dividend warrants (for the financial year 2012-13 ) to the stock Exchanges.<br/><br/>SEBI imposed a penalty of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) on Vivimed Labs Limited under Section 23E of the SCRA,1956.<br/><br/>It has no material impact on its present or future operations or its profitability or its financials".
