Quick Heal Technologies debuts on bourses

Antivirus Software provider Quick Heal Technologies Ltd on Thursday said its equity shares are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of 'B' group securities.

“Effective from February 18, 2016, the equity shares of Quick Heal Technologies Ltd are listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of 'B' Group Securities,” said Quick Heal Technologies Ltd in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange on February 18, 2016.

It has raised Rs 451 crore through its initial public offer (IPO), which opened on Feb 8 and closed on Feb 10.

The IPO of the software provider was oversubscribed 11 times at a price band of Rs 311-321 per share.

The proceeds from the offer of sale would not go to Quick Heal Technologies, the Rs 250-crore funds raised from fresh issue of equity shares would be used by the company for advertising and sales promotion and capital expenditure for research and development.

Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 310.60 apiece, down 3.24 per cent, from previous close on BSE at 10:59 hours.
