Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to market participants'' raising their bets.
New Delhi, Sep 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 35 paise to Rs 800.70 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher 35 paise or 0.04 per cent at Rs 800.70 per kg in a business turnover of 1,228 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
