Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices rose 0.53% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand, with analysts attributing the gain to rising participant bets.
New Delhi, Aug 21 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.53 per cent to Rs 812.50 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in September traded higher Rs 4.25 or 0.53 per cent at Rs 812.50 per kg in a business turnover of 5,727 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
