Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures prices increased on Tuesday due to strong spot demand. The rise was attributed to increased bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Aug 27 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.04 per cent to Rs 814.20 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in September traded higher 35 paise or 0.04 per cent at Rs 814.20 per kg in a business turnover of 10,032 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
