Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.36% to Rs 794.45 per kg on Thursday due to increased spot demand and bullish bets by participants.
New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.36 per cent to Rs 794.45 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 2.85 or 0.36 per cent at Rs 794.45 per kg in a business turnover of 1,142 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
